The Neskoskas are back and live from Palatine! Kalina and Nevena sing it out even tho Nevena has a stuffy nose :)

Anyway, sorry for the abscence! I have been dealing with exams. Or as Hari would know the truth, the tidying and untidying of my study desk. Now I do know it has been a week + after my exams but I do have excuses for not blogging: 1) I've been busy looking for a job. Ok thats no real excuse to not fork out 10 minutes to post some few sentences onto this beloved online blog of mine. But yes I do need a job and I hope to get one very soon :) 2)I've been watching the world cup! Yes the peoples' game. To be honest I was never too into soccer but it was admirable and spectacular to see the Aussies get into the round of 16. I reckon it made believers out of all of us. No one would've known who Kalac, Culina, Skoko, Aloisi, Cahill(stay away Kalina), Bresciano or Chipperfield was if Australia didn't quality for the finals. I reckon soccer might be in contention for our national sport now.. Against AFL? probably not tho :P 3) um nothing particularly interesting has happened to be in the past few weeks other than exams and boredom, thats why I need a job! Results will be out on the 7th 8th of ummm July? Anyone? 4)ummmm ok lets en it at 3 shall we :P

Ahhh I finished my first DJ show on SYN 90.7. Check it out its www.syn.org.au and listen in every Tuesday night from 7-8pm cuz I'll be hosting the Asian Pop Night Kick Off! Everything went smoothly besides a few minor slips but it went ok. Actually the mistakes I made were quite funny Lol :P Listen in next week everyone! I'll make it even better :P

I've got much to finish off in this last week! My ABP assignment 1500 words to start on, due on friday, my pharamcology lab report and note taking for Microbial Cells and Genomes. I guess I should be signing off here and remember, DJ WENNIE TUESDAY NITES 7-8pm on SYN 9-0-7! ^^

Its me Wen. Its 2.14am on a Saturday morning and I've decided to update my blog at this weird hour of the day. First of all I'd like to say that my oral presentation is finally over! Our group didn't do too badly but in one of our slides the word PROSITE was mistakenly spelt PROSTIE! Luckily we picked that one up right before the presentation to have avoided making a genome science tool sound like some hooker equivalent. :P Good work to Harishans group as well! I went for their oral and they did awesome. Speaking of Hari, Hari my man has just recently created a new blog! I'd just like to send my condolences to Kalina cuz her friend just died mysteriously in the past few days. :( Poor Maribel was just 16. Sometimes its things like this that make us realise how much we don't treasure what we have at the moment until its too late. :( I hope we can all not take each other forgranted and realise how important of a role we play in each others lives.

Anywaiiii short of getting all philosophical, heres another clip which I found extremely entertaining. A class of jap students had to watch this video of anotehr guy tring to speak english and whoever leaked a trickle of a giggle would be punished by a smack to the bum... -_- sound stupid? Very entertaining! Lool

So yes, on a totally different topic, I went to the Taiwanese ball on Friday nite n it was really fun! Got to see Steve drunk and boy have we come a long way since Ivanhoe. To kick things off lets start off with a comparism between us in 2003 and 3 years later...

Just a rundown of the entire event :Well there was a performance of 周杰伦's 枫 as well as some songs from 五月天 (which literally translates to May Day) performed by Wilson's band :P. T3h F0oD sux0rr to put it mildly but dessert was nice. I paid my money's worth for seeing Steven drunk n get driven off by his date as well as seeing Wayne (yes biomed Wayne) dance!!!!!! Well it was funny n I think most of us had a good time... maybe cept for the ppl that missed out on the tequila shots.. 1 tequila 2 tequila 3 tequila FLOOR

Tuesday was Anzac day... and what a better way to celebrate our fallen by attending the Anzac day footy match between the Dons n Pies! It was a great game and the Pies won! ^__^ Yay! Before the game there was the Anzac service with a kew Korean Vietnam and WW2 veterans parading. There were also paratroopers who landed inside the dome and who can miss the giant Aussie flag :P

Finally sane enough to blog

so I finally dragged myself to blog once again. It has been a hectic week, well semi-hectic but I still couldnt be bothered updating this space... sorry guys :S

It all started on Sunday when i went on a last minute decided movie marathon with Sae Rom, Jack, Viv, Rosana Diana and Jezza. We had to go to Chaddy in the end because Melbourne Central was all booked out. It started at 11pm and ended at about 5am in the morning. The three movies on were V for Vandetta, Final Destination 3, and Firewall. I actually watched V before so it was the 2nd time. FD3 was kinda grot.. but entertaining nevertheless. By the time we got to Firewall, we were already half asleep but we got the gist of the movie :P

Anywayz we headed off for Maccas straight after cuz we were darn hungry. The restaurant wasn't open and we could only use the drive thru. Some of our friends coulnd't be bothered driving up and instead they just lined up in the drive thru on foot between cars! lol that was actually quite funny... Then it was back to Jez's place and we were playing monkey games and rugby on his Xbox till about 10am. :P We had to go to Melbourne Central later cuz Peter called us out for Aya's bday. We arrived half an hour earlier and we were dropping dead so we bought and drank 2 cans of V drink each. That didn't stop us from dozing off on some really comfy couches tho!

Tuesday was really random. Went to SYN 90.7 with Vanessa and I met DJ Maybelline and DJ Sasa there. :P It was really fun and I even got to speak stuff on air. Everything was good till I was asked to try out DJing :S oh and also when I slammed my head onto the headphones :P Silly me n Vanessa went into a laughing fit. Should've taken a picture lol

The rest of the week was spent stressing over my assignment and the DJ job but that didn't mean I got anything done at all :P Oh.. Friday I was helping Sae Young with her Melbourne photo shoot.
